Debbie Raven
Debbie Raven is the chief operating officer of Virgin Care. Debbie is responsible for leading the delivery and performance for all of the GP provider companies and Virgin Care services.
Prior to joining Virgin Care, Debbie worked for a leading healthcare provider. She started as director of services in 2006 and eventually became the chief operating officer.
Debbie was instrumental in the growth of the organisation from a fledging company to one of the largest independent providers of primary care services.
In 1987, Debbie began her nursing career in Manchester. Shortly after qualifying she moved to St Mary’s in Paddington. She then moved into community health care as a district nurse in Berkshire where she became a team leader for the locality, combing both clinical and management roles.
Debbie moved to a local PCT in 2001 and went on to establish an award winning intermediate care service before progressing to director of nursing with overall responsibility for the provision of services within the PCT.
