Mike Dugdale
Mike Dugdale joined as finance director in August 2010 and has responsibility for driving and directing the financial management of the company.
He has worked at director level in UK and US quoted companies in a variety of sectors including Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), financial services and healthcare.
Mike began his career in Manchester having graduated from the University of Wales with a degree in accountancy and financial administration. After qualifying as a chartered accountant he moved to a role in business services.
In 1988 Mike joined a leading sports brand where he spent eight years during a time of explosive growth in which it became number one worldwide.
Mike spent two years as the financial director of its Canadian operation and took over responsibility for customer services. After returning to the UK he became the international finance director for all business outside of the North America.
In 1996 Mike took a role as director of group financial services and group financial controller where he was responsible for all financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial controls for this £4 billion FTSE 100 international group.
Since 2001 Mike has worked in the healthcare industry, initially as a group financial controller and more recently as the finance director, where he was responsible for directing and driving the financial, legal and hospital contracting activities.
