Overview
Assura Darlington GP Partnership LLP is a partnership between 10 local GP practices and Virgin Care.
The partnership is a GP-led provider organisation which provides NHS services by combining the clinical skills and expertise of the local GPs with the business and service expertise of Virgin Care. Our clinical models enable us to provide integrated care across whole pathways that deliver significant savings for commissioners and streamlined care for the people who use our services.

Our Clinical Management Board (CMB)
The CMB is responsible for the overall running of the GP provider company to ensure that the best possible service is offered within the community. The CMB also assumes responsibility for clinical governance and delivery of the business plan to the day-to-day responsibility of managing and operating the partnership.

Our services
Community Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Service
Based in one of our Darlington practices the service is funded by NHS County Durham and Darlington and provides advice and treatment from a GP with a special interest in ENT with support from an ENT consultant. The service aims to diagnose a condition, arrange any appropriate investigations and provide treatment if necessary.

Community Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service
This service offers consultation, advice and treatment to quickly assess problems with joints, soft tissue or muscles. The MSK service is staffed by advanced MSK practitioners, (Extended Scope Practitioners) with support from a GP with a special interest in MSK. The initial assessment element of the service is designed to make sure treatment is provided in the best and most appropriate setting
