Overview

Assura Stockton is a partnership between seven local GP practices and Virgin Care, a leading healthcare provider.

The partnership is a GP-led provider organisation of NHS services which combines the clinical skills and expertise of the local GPs with the business and service expertise of Virgin Care. Our clinical models enable us to provide integrated care across whole pathways that deliver significant savings for commissioners and streamlined care for the patient.

Our Clinical Management Board (CMB)

The CMB is responsible for the overall running of the partnership to ensure that the best possible service is offered within the community. The CMB also assumes responsibility for clinical governance and delivery of the business plan to the day-to-day responsibility of managing and operating the partnership.

Our services

Langbaurgh NHS Medical Centre
The service offers full general practice with access to a range of health professionals from 8am to 7pm, Monday to Friday and from 1:15pm to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Unregistered patients may book same day emergency appointments if they are unable to make an appointment with their own GP.

Stockton NHS Healthcare Centre
This services offers full general practice and walk-in health services from  8am to 8pm and is open to registered and unregistered patients with or without an appointment, 365 days per year.

Sexual Health Teesside
This service offers a free, confidential service, providing immediate contraceptive and sexual health advice, testing and treatment. These services are provided on a walk-in or appointment basis, at times and locations to suit the lifestyle of local people.
