We provide 21 primary care services across England including GP practices, GP out of hours services, walk-in centres, urgent care centres (UCCs) and minor injury units (MIUs).
If you live near to one of our locations, and you aren’t a registered patient, register now to access our services. We are extremely proud of our patient satisfaction rates and our staff retention rates.
We work in partnership with our GP Neighbours – providing back office support to remove the administrative burden that can sometimes distract providing the best available care at all times.
We have been providing primary care services since 2009 and now run 21 primary care services across the country, caring for more than 600,000 people each year. Primary care includes GP practices, GP out of hours services, walk-in centres, urgent care centres (UCCs) and minor injury units (MIUs).
To make an appointment at most of our GP practices you have to register with us, but anyone can use our walk-in urgent care centres.

We offer all the NHS services you would expect from your GP practice as well as some additional services such as minor surgery and extended hours.
Our GP practices are often open longer than the more ‘traditional’ GP practice so that we can be there when you need us. For example, in our Coventry Walk-in Centre, we are open every day (including weekends) from 8am to 10pm. We work alongside other local healthcare, social care and voluntary sector organisations to ensure that our services meet your needs.
We run ‘walk in’ urgent care centres (UCCs) across the country, including nurse-led minor injury units (MIUs). Our urgent care centres allow you to be seen without an appointment and, like our GP practices, have opening hours designed around you. We see and treat over 700,000 people each year and we are the second largest provider of this type of urgent care in England. Our walk-in services exist to try to reduce the pressure on Accident and Emergency (A&E) departments, by treating people who need treatment for non life threatening situations without needing an appointment, closer to their home when they need it.
All of our primary care services are slightly different, but they have a common approach:
Improving your journey to the right care – our services are focused on ensuring you see the appropriate clinician at the appropriate location as soon as possible. Our urgent care centres (UCCs) and minor injury units (MIUs) have reported that between 50 and 60% of people they treat would otherwise go to A&E. That means they would have a longer wait and take up the time of staff who should be attending to those with more serious injuries and conditions.
Responsive to you – we ask everyone using our service for feedback on their experience so we can find out what we’re doing well and what we need to do better. We have a national network of primary and urgent care clinical leads to share examples of best practice and learn together.
Safe and consistent – we have to meet rigorous Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, we run our own internal inspections and have robust governance and reporting systems to monitor how all of our services are doing, so you can be confident that your care, safety and privacy are our absolute priorities.
