What’s your role at Virgin Care?
I am the Head of Integrated Therapies for Wiltshire Children’s Community Services.
How did you join?
I transferred from the RUH NHS service as an Occupational Therapist and then applied for the Head of Integrated Therapies post at Virgin Care.
What’s your professional background?
My background is in Occupational Therapy.
What are you working on at the moment to help everyone feel the difference?
I am heading up the redesign of an integrated children’s therapy service across Wiltshire to ensure equity and equality of service.
How has your role developed since you joined us?
The management role has expanded and offered me different opportunities within the Wiltshire Community Services.
What’s the most challenging part of your role?
Managing change and sharing the development plans and proposals with the relevant people, colleagues, stakeholders and users. Communication and consultation is always a challenge.
How have you felt the difference since you joined?
The organisation is very energetic and forward looking. The atmosphere in Virgin Care supports change and improvement.
What do you enjoy most about working with Virgin Care?
