What’s your role at Virgin Care?
I am Head of Operations for Wiltshire Children’s Community Services.
How has your role developed since you joined us?
I was part of Inspire course (an internal talent development course for the leaders of the future) for 2016-17. I have used this to develop my understanding of Virgin Care and to network with wider colleagues and departments.
What’s the most challenging part of your role?
Managing the day to day priorities of delivering safe clinical services whilst also aiming to review and transform services to meet the new specifications.
How have you felt the difference since you joined?
I have felt valued for the knowledge and experience of the service, business and locality.
What do you enjoy most about working with Virgin Care?
I have been impressed by the organisational understanding of community and children’s services and local decision making to support service delivery.
