Welcome to Breathing Problems B&NES

Our Improving Access to COPD Therapies (IMPACT) Team provides services to patients who have a confirmed diagnosis of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).

The service is for any adult over 18 years of age who lives in the Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) area or is registered with a B&NES GP.

More about us

We offer:

  • A ‘hospital at home’ service for people with chronic bronchitis and/or emphysema, also known as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
  • An oxygen assessment service for patients currently using oxygen who are registered with a B&NES GP and are over 18 years old
  • An Exercise and Education programme with classes offering light exercise and education – pulmonary rehabilitation
