Welcome to the B&NES Sexual Health Improvement Service for Young People

We provide free confidential sexual health service for young people.

This service is for young people aged 13 – 24 years, and for professionals working with young people in the Bath and North East Somerset area.

Our sexual health service offers free confidential advice and treatment for young people. We aim to support and empower young people, so that they experience positive sexual health and relationship outcomes.

The Sexual Health Improvement Service supports young people and professionals through:

SAFE Accreditation: collaboratively working with youth providers, GP’s, pharmacies, education and clinical settings to become SAFE Accredited.  This is a branding that is recognisable by young adults as being confidential, non-judgmental and young person friendly.

The C-Card Scheme: offers young people free condoms, sexual health and relationships advice and information.

Training: deliver training to professionals as part of the Sexual Health Training Programme.

Sexual Health interventions: working with organisations to provide positive sexual health and safer sex promotions to young people.

Consultation with young adults: to develop services and interventions that meets the needs of all young people.

Resources: provide up to date and young person friendly resources to SAFE accredited organisations.
